Hangars
The Port owned hangars at Sanderson Field are standard T-hangars, approximately 30′ by 40′. Due to increased demand for hangar space, there is currently about a 2-5 year waiting list for Port hangar rentals. Call (360) 426-1151 to be added to the waitlist.
In 2025 a private company constructed a new premium 60’x340’x19’ T-hangar with 14 fully insulated units with heated floors. These are currently available for purchase and more information can be found here.

Tie-Downs – 24
Any tie down spots that do not say reserved can be used and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
When parking your aircraft on the tie downs at Sanderson Field there is no fee if you are there for the day or stay overnight and plan to leave the next day.
If you plan to park on the tie downs at Sanderson Field for more than 24 hours a Tie Down Agreement must be downloaded, filled out and emailed to info@portofshelton.com. Alternatively paper copies can be found in the Port office (Office Hours) or the Flight Planning Center (24/7 Access) and can be dropped off in the locked mail box outside the Port office. You do not need to wait for a response as the office may be closed, as long as an agreement has been sent with your desired stay listed, you may use the Tie Downs. Once the agreement has been received by the Port they will email you an invoice and a link to settle your future or past stay.
